Every day our life consists
of millions of lessons, random patterns, coincidences, and experiences of
rare beauty and emotions. Many of these moments are easily disregarded by the
routine activities of our day-to-day lives. Photography is a unique art that
can freeze a fleeting instant and allow us to recognize the value of events
so we can emotionally connect with and appreciate the essence of life. I
attribute my appreciation of the world’s beauty and many cultures to my
upbringing in Hawai`i and to those who have guided me along the way. My
inspiration has come from the people and experience I've encountered
through out my life. Currently, I reside in Austin Texas, where I am furthering my
photography work as I pursue my B.A in Photojournalism. I have been fortunate over
the past seven years to have worked with a wide range of clients from Los Angeles,
New York, Austin and Honolulu. The projects have varied
from working on film sets, taking headshots, capturing Jiu-jitsu
tournaments, designing portraits, and the joys of wedding photography. I now
have a colorful portfolio and developed treasured friendships nationwide.
But most of all, I have been grateful for the many meaningful life long
lessons I continue to honor and enjoy. |
